Oktober Bulan Kesedaran Barah Payudara (Breast Cancer)

Bulan Oktober ialah "Breast Cancer Awareness Month". Kepada teman-teman jom kita berserba serbi pink pemakaiannya, beg pink atau pun berkasut pink..very cute! Dan yang paling penting kita mesti sedar bahawa kanser payudara adalah antara pembunuh utama wanita di Malaysia. Dan u guys plakkkk...korang ingat korang selamat? No...no...no... korang refer di sini. Jangan terkejut yer.. Or at least bila kita semua aware, maka kita akan lebih prihatin dengan orang2 sekeliling kita. Our mums, our in-laws, our sisters, siblings dan sesiapa sahaja yang kita kenal. Dan kita juga mungkin berisiko kan? Klu uolss perasan di Astro Channel 702 telah berkempen sepanjang bulan ini..sbb aku adalah penonton tegar program Oprah jam 8 malam.. :)

Menara Kuala Lumpur Lights Up In Pink – 3 Oct 2009 “World Pink, World Without Breast Cancer” – these were the words lighting up the Menara Kuala Lumpur as part of the Estée Lauder Companies’ Global Landmarks Illumination Initiative at just after 8pm on a balmy Saturday night. Base jumpers thrilled the crowd made up mainly of those who had just completed their Walk for World Pink earlier in the evening. College of Radiology WALKS for WORLD PINK, Kuala Lumpur – 3 Oct 2009 It was great weather for College of Radiology members, supporters and friends to join Estée Lauder Companies’ initiative to raise breast cancer awareness and funds, i.e. Walk for World Pink at Menara Kuala Lumpur. The walk flagged off at 6.30pm, but participants and supporters were there earlier with a host of activities to keep everyone’s spirits high despite the humidity!
